The Labour Council has wasted your hard-earned money — giving £27 million to a housebuilder that went bust. Remember the Tories? They wasted £6 million on the ridiculous Marble Arch Mound when they ran Westminster.

Our policies are clear and set out below

🔥 Westminster Heating

Labour want to pay contractors upwards of £400 million to replace the ageing Pimlico District Heating Undertaking (PDHU) system which supplies hot water to thousands of council homes — forcing each leaseholder to pay £66,000 and threatening even more Council Tax rises, with annual maintenance on top. Like all public projects — remember HS2 which started at £30 billion, rose to £66 billion and even after cancelling Phase 2 will cost £100bn — if that overrun occurs with PDHU, the cost will be over £800 million and the cost of heating your home will explode.

If Reform wins the Council, there will be no more delays. We will sack the contractors and replace the system with conventional boilers at a much cheaper cost. One leaseholder with a 3-bedroom flat has been quoted upwards of £66,000 but can install a conventional gas boiler and radiators for £15,000. Even one-bedroom flat leaseholders are being asked for upwards of £40,000. This is the ideology of Labour — all to support Ed Miliband's Net Stupid Zero. Reform Councils all over the country are cutting waste and keeping Council Tax low.

💷 Cut Waste and Save Money

Reform will promote value for money by targeting the millions wasted every year on pet ideological projects, weak major contracts, illegal migration and diversity schemes that prioritise social engineering over efficiency. Your Council Tax will stay low. Remember — both Labour and the Tories have squandered Council finances. Neither can be trusted with your money.

Reform UK-led councils have delivered the lowest average Council Tax rises in England for 2026/27, with an average increase of 3.94% in Reform-controlled upper-tier councils compared to the national average of 4.9%.

🏠 Cancelling Labour's "Council of Sanctuary" Policy

We will cancel Labour's "Council of Sanctuary" policy, which gives refugees and asylum seekers priority over Westminster residents who have been on waiting lists for years.

Tough on Crime & Anti-Social Behaviour

The Conservatives cut CCTV when they were last in power and closed our police stations. Labour Mayor Sadiq Khan has presided over a crime wave. Only Reform will fight crime by increasing frontline officer strength and adding CCTV coverage to keep you safe.

Cleaner, Tidier Streets

Westminster streets are dirtier than ever, with litter and dumping a regular feature. We will restore a Grade A street cleaning service, ensure dumpers are prosecuted, and e-bikes removed and their operators fined when parked badly. Graffiti will be prioritised for immediate removal.

Co-ordinated Roadworks

Westminster roadworks are out of control, with journeys being disrupted daily because of the chaos of multiple schemes at the same time and roads repeatedly being re-dug. We will co-ordinate roadworks with AI to minimise disruption to your lives.

Cycleways That Work

We all want to see more cycling in Westminster, but Conservative and Labour administrations have undertaken a war on pedestrians, disabled people and drivers through aggressive cycleway projects. We will ensure that those who live in Westminster get the final say on future schemes, so they work for all road users.

Oxford Street

We will oppose Mayor Khan's plans which threaten congestion and mass disruption for local people and those looking to travel by bus or road.

Stop the Hate Marches

For too long Westminster has been plagued by repeat hate marches that cause an intimidating atmosphere, disrupt business, cause chaos and leave rubbish in their wake. We will demand that hate marches be prevented or moved so that local people can be free to get on with their lives.

Better Short-Term Let Enforcement

Illegal Airbnb and similar short-term rentals are causing disruption for local people when rules are broken. We will enforce regulations as well as the established day limits.

Fairness for Council Housing Tenants & Leaseholders

Council residents frequently have had to wait too long for repairs. We promise an end to this poor standard of service and will investigate ways to improve fairness around surprise repair bills. We will govern with common sense, focus on getting results and drive positive change for our community.
